Suzanne Pozsonyi obtained her postgraduate training in the field of healthcare management at the Hogeshcool van Amsterdam in 1990. With the subsidy of the Dutch Government she was instrumental setting up the first CRO in CEE. The Medical Information and Research Assistance Institute (MIRAI) developed into a pan European CRO ( VERUM ) which was acquired by PAREXEL International due to its CEE organization.

During her 20 years in the CRO industry, Ms Pozsonyi has set up offices and recruited personnel in Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, the Baltic States, Russia, Ukraine, Romania. As a successful global account director within international CROs, Ms Pozsonyi served as a clinical research specialist for CEE and the emerging regions of Latin America and South East Asia.

Suzanne has worked with CROs and with investigators on the patient recruitment in the CEE, and the emerging regions of Latin America and South East Asia; with an understanding of similarities and differences of these countries, and between the emerging regions and Western Europe.

To exploit on her professional experience, she decided to transfer her knowledge and support CROs originating from the from the emergin regions, as well as Western Europe.

Enrique Gaubeca is the founder and Managing Director of KLIXAR, a local independent Contract Research Organization located in Latin America specialized in phase II to IV clinical trials. Enrique was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and has over eleven years of experience in clinical research. He has a degree in Molecular Biology and an MBA. He worked as Line Manager at Quintiles (nowadays called Associate Director, Clinical Operations), supervising the clinical operations in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, PerĂº and Venezuela. His last position was as Senior Manager, Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs at PAREXEL, responsible for the clinical and regulatory activities carried out in Argentina and Uruguay.
